这道题我知道该怎么排除错误答案，也做对了。但是还有个小问题。

请问，D的形式“As A，B do C.”中的“As A，”是一定只能修饰主句全句呢？还是也可以修饰B，要根据逻辑判断呢？

实在抱歉，可是我好像没找到能解决我的问题的帖子。。。

只有下面这个帖子的13楼提到了as的介词作用，我想这题中as就是做介词吧，意思应该翻译成“作为”吧。

那么D就好像是有些问题的。

因为我感觉“as...”是修饰“later generations”，而不是修饰后面整句的，改变的原句的意思，变成了：“later generations是destruction的结果，而且later generations失去了。。。”

就好像这两句：As a result of earthquake, the destruction of houses made many people sad.

                     As a teacher, I collected information for my students.

我的理解到底错在哪里了？请指教！谢谢！

哦，明白了，就是说要根据逻辑意思来判断，as...并不一定修饰主句主语
