Hey there,
It will be tough to convince them you want to study finance if you don’t have any work experience in it & given your non-finance undergrad major (with a GPA that’s a bit on the low end). That’s not to say it’s impossible – if you have strong accomplishments at work that highlight your quant skills & if you can score strongly on the GMAT they will be willing to give you a chance. It will also be critical to show that you’ve really thought through your post-grad goals & have done your homework there; your argument for why you need the degree will rest on those goals so the more specific you can be (and the more you can show that you’ve done your research) the better. I’d also consider trying to get a year of finance experience under your belt first!
