第一题我选Ｃ。Ｂ中B. there are fewer than one-quarter as many表达不妥，既然有了比较级fewer than和as many表达意思重复，并且也应该是as many as ...啊

第二题选Ａ。those指代people,killed by... 做those的定语。

看了部分讨论,但似乎也没有定论.

有几个争论重点:

1.less是不是只能修饰不可数名词? 或者说less管不可数,fewer管可数

2.number往上用greater, 那往下用什么来修饰? less? fewer? lower?

3.amount能否修饰和不可数名词一百年拉不到关系的drive-ins?

4.如果说number有指代不清的问题,那什么情况下可以用number?是不是有number必错?有没有OG的例题?

5第二题E选, 如果换成movies, fewer than those,会是正确答案吗?

最后我在网上查看了一下第一题的原文是关于什么美国腾飞的,原文里用的是there are....

所以我在ABC里挑了一个最没有可数不可数争议的B

B应该不对，这个as many代表什么呢？绝对有问题，gmat中没有这样的表达。有than,又有as many，怎么可能有这么繁琐无意义的表达？如果是B,那么这个one-quarter是什么的1/4？不是违背了原文的含义？所以应该是C
