语义上肯定要保持原来句子不变，因为讲述了这个人参军的整个过程，并且had become表示这个是在 discharged之前，要比用一般过去时好。但是，用discharged 也没有问题

OG和语法笔记上的解释上都是说需要补出 was

如果是不补出was，将injure three times 作为一个插入语，是否有语法错误呢？

求各位牛牛解答

看看上面你的句子...injured three times 修饰对象是谁？

最重要的是上面发生的事情在逻辑上是一个序列的，同等的重要的性...

joined the army.
was injured three times.
became too ill to serve.
was discharged

逻辑比语法重要! gmat不是单纯考语法的，尤其是有点难度的题，都是考逻辑的

平行结构里的superficial parallel 在结构上是平行了，逻辑上完全是不搭边

你说的没错这个是同等重要的事情我是在想从其他的角度来看这一道题目
injured
修饰 sampson 做伴随状语
说到这我明白了语法上应该没啥问题做定语太远做伴随状语表示完成那传达的意思是 22岁的时候已经受伤了3次但是才刚刚参军不可能受伤三次
