官方解释：
The subject of the sentence is the plural fossils , not
sloth , and therefore requires a plural verb. It therefore
does not have a singular antecedent. To clarify the
identifi cation of the oldest known mammal, the
noun the sloth must be explicitly identifi ed.

他说it没有单数的指代。那我很不理解，it不可以指代sloth么？？难道一定要指代文中的主语么？？
似乎与我一直的认知相反。

这题不是选D么？B 的has肯定是错的，而且B的it离指代对象sloth太远，arm sloth都是单数，容易造成指代歧义
