it指的是elephant seal吧

这个你看题的时候要拿中文想，再拿句子意思理解，说：
elephant seal 这个东西的眼睛在黑暗里适应得好，使它在什么环境下很好的捕猎。那这里的it就只能是 elephant seal才说的通对吧。
如果这里换成it换成they什么的，你就知道不对了，因为不能是eyes去捕猎。
