本科日本Keio大学13年毕业，国内VC+Banking短暂工作经验，
硕士CMU MISM 16年毕业，
目前在NYC某日资银行从事Securitization/Structured Finance相关工作（front desk），
G未考，T免，

18年或19年MBA入学，

求大神定位。

PS:
本科GPA 3.2 硕士GPA 3.2 GPA真不高。。。
目前analyst 争取入学前升associate（目测明年初）
目前是origination/execution相关，属于广义上的sell side
MBA之后sell/buy side都考虑但肯定是securitization相关

楼主的背景看着不错，个人建议考完GMAT以后再定位会更稳妥一些。

Well your industry is an excellent one, and your experience in Japan is unique.

For the rest,
I’d love to help you out but without more info it’s gonna be hard. Where do you work? How many years? What do you do? How quickly have you advanced? Do you have any leadership? What are your great achievements? Do you have notable community service or extra curriculars? What was your GPA?

Also without a GMAT score its hard to give a real position.

All of these will play important roles in your evaluation.

I do execution/origination of asset-backed loan/securities.
Hopefully I can get my promotion next May to association.

Hey there,
Great to hear back from you. so you have a good job in a good company, but not yet enough work experience. I think at this point in time your question should not yet be “what school can I apply to”? But “How can I make my profile the best over the next 2-3 years?” (You should not apply without minimum three years experience).

What you can and should do:
- Advance as high as quick as you can at work
- Take every single leadership opportunity you have, in work and out
- Start working on your GMAT and get that high GMAT score locked down EARLY
- Take on 1-2 volunteer positions where you are REGULARLY volunteering, ideally where you have LEADERSHIP opportunities.
- Likewise, get involved in other activities (like entrepreneurship, sports, etc) which will make your profile more interesting.

Do that and you will be off to a great start!

都已经有VC经验，又有美日顶尖学历跟经验
假以时日要冲PE/VC都不是难事
又免T，当满分
目标应该要更冲，人要比校名凶
IB都可以当保底了
唯一问题在于年资稍短
但会专往securitization要看原因，如果有哲学远见可以写给学校看
不过也很难讲，因为学经历都有亮点，有的学校会赌天才
看今年或明年有准备好的感觉，只要分数到位，工作上学习或升迁又到顶
就直接冲M7

对了
一般而言，根据毕马龙（期待）效应（Pygmalion Effect）
都能念到Keio跟CMU，GMAT至少有750实力
是智力测验，看人口统计，不必太担心

主要还考虑地理位置和金融就业的话。
HBS,Wharton,Yale,Columbia,NYU,（maybe Cornell,Tuck？）
