全部划线。正确答案是A。但是C错在什么地方？？

把C的句子缩减到主干，A ...... aircraft could fly ......, ......, with it skimming.......。不通吧？

somebody did sth with sth or somebody did sth by doing sth都可以，但是somebody did sth with doing sth就是错的。

是不是介词后面的it要变成its 所有格形式

with its skimming我觉得语法上说的过去，但是应该还是不如by skimming。我感觉gmat不喜欢所有格+Verbing这种句式。

1.C中的it没有存在必要，it指代aircraft，在简化子句中，主语相同应该省略掉。
2. with，by表示“凭借”这个意思时，with的本义是indicating the instrument used to perform an action，by的意思是indicating the means of achieving something，skimming along the top of the atmosphere显然是方法而不是工具
3.简化状语从句一般有两种方法，状语从句的主语和主句相同用伴随状语，也就是这里的by skimming，状语从句的主语和主句不同用独立主格，该题skim的主语显然是aircraft，没必要用with独立主格结构。
