《句子改错 语法推理精讲》这书的比较考点这一章 书中写道that/those表示“同类指代“，it/they 表示”同物指代“。
那么这道题Today's technology allows manufacturers to make small cars that are more fuel-efficient than they were at any time in their production history.
A.small cars that are more fuel-efficient than they were at any time in their
B.small cars that are more fuel-efficient than those were at any time in their
more fuel-efficient small cars than those at any other time in their.
是不是可以这样理解，they were是同物指代，也就还是之前那一批small cars （that are more fuel-efficient），因此这个选项错；而those指代是这类small car 所以成立？
