B中could和have the capability of 重复，propering和to help不对称

c中able to这个形容词短语使用很不恰当

d中改变句子重心（重心是测试）而且propel和helping不并列

当然，987A中within two后面肯定少了一个hours

A正确.
B, 正确的平行结构应该是: have the capability of p...ing A or (of) h...ing B. 或者have the capability to p... A or (to) h... B.
前面用of p...ing A 后面用to h... B不平行.
C, 和B类似. 正确的平行结构应该是: able to p... A, or (to) h... B. 但此处 able to p... A, or h...ing B不平行.
D, 也是平行问题. 正确的平行结构应该是: could p... A or h... B. 但此处could p... A or h...ing B不平行.
另外AND用法不恰当. 原句要表达一种引擎现在正在被测试, 而这种引擎具有某种属性, 属性通过MODIFIER给到. 但AND是用弱逻辑关系并列给到了两句话, 而且是一个正在发生的事情和一个事物属性. 原句中的一件事和一个属性, 由于有内在的联系, 即属性为事件的主体所有, 那么用定语从句来表述比较准确, 而用AND体现不出这种联系. AND适合用来表述的平行关系, 在这里由于是一件事情vs一个事物属性, 实质上也并不平行.
E, 除了could和have the capability to重复, 关于AND的用法也有D所出现的问题.
