关于it指代的问题

There are hopeful signs that we are shifting away from our heavy reliance on fossil fuels: more than ten times as much energy is generated through wind power now than it was in 1990.

· A generated through wind power now than it was

· B generated through wind power now as it was

· C generated through wind power now as was the case

· D now generated through wind power as it was

· E now generated through wind power than was the case

答案是C，也能理解。只是B和D当中的it指代是有问题的，很多人都说是因为完全指代了前面energy的所有成分造成句意有问题，我觉得是不是因为它是就近指代wind power而造成指代歧义呢？想请NN们解答一下下~

不是。it指代同词同意，不可能现在的和1900的energy是同一个energy。
其次代词的指代永远是根据逻辑指代，所有很多时候会出现就近指代，但是根本原则是逻辑指代。
