8T来了，请教一道语法题

The (strength) size and surefootedness of the llama (make it) as (excellent) beast of burden in mountainous regions today (as) it was in the past .

请问怎么改？why？

I feel A is problematic,since strength, size, and surefootedness are all characteristics of the llama therefore need to be juxtaposed, but it seems at least a coma required between strength and size, otherwise the phrase "strength size" garbles the original meaning by modifying size with strength.

But I also feel C is questionable due to the singluar form of the "beast" which follows the underlined "excellent", it seems an article "a" is required after "excellent".

Is this a real question in TOEFL? I have to choose C, but I think you missed something in A, hope I made my points clear.

8过我觉得好像还是缺了个冠词！应该改成an excellent，beast应该是可数名词，不能是beast的。8管了，ETS的这个划线错得比较明显啦，呵呵
