求问一道语法题og16 sc64！定语从句的先行词问题～

正确答案是b，小女有疑问的是：句尾的那个in which they were enshrined 不会有指代不明的嫌疑吗？这里面的they 指的是上述三项工作的成果吗？

个人理解，指代不明的适用首先要满足逻辑句意，也就是有两个及以上的对象能使这句话logical.

本题中，be enshrined被供奉的只能是temples，不能说工作成果被供奉，所以不存在指代不明的情况。

您好！首先感谢回答啦。不过我考虑下来，觉得temple 是这个定语从句的先行词呀，换过来应该是
in temples they were eshrined.
被供奉的肯定不是temples呀～

虽然只有可能是那些成果被供奉，但我的疑问是这些成果可以用一个they来指代吗？

就近原则，they指代的肯定就是temples,指代很清楚。你大概是想太多了。

个人认为就近原则这里并不适用，正如楼主自己说的，in temples they were enshrined. 我也是这么理解的。
你看A选项，出现的那个them就应该是B中的they，所以B中应该指的就是creation of images吧。大部分时候A选项表达的是原意，当然有不少特例。
个人感觉GMAT对指代不明容忍度不是很低，ACDE明显错。they这个问题每个选项都有。所以应该不是考点，所以研究指代不明应该不用以这种题为例。还是看那些明显涉及到指代问题的题目比较好。
纯属个人意见，如有错误，还请各位指正。

对的对的我后来第二次做到的时候，主要放注意力就在 expend sth on ..... 还有平行这两个知识点了。然后这个指代我就是心知肚明一笔带过，劝自己不要纠结！.....

因为which指代temples，所以they就无歧义的指向之前唯一一个复数名词images（摘自prep08语法笔记）

From my opinion, "they" refer to. Images and temples
X was expended on A and on B in which they was enshrined .Obviously, they refer to a and b
From other points, in which could be equal to when
Use when repalce In which ,you could earlier to find out who is the antecedent.
Another opinions from Manhattan Prep: The unclear pronoun in the sentence could be ignored to some degree.
In short, except the disagree of the singular and plural of the antecedent , do not pay much attention on the pronoun in detail.
