在B中their指代shad，说明这里的shad是复数
但后面又说had reduced landings to less than...如果这里的landings也指shad的话，为何是less而不是fewer呢？OG的解释说，the fishermen landed different amounts of fish，但这边的fish--shad不是复数么？并且landings本身有s，看起来也很像是复数。

该题中landings本身是一个单数名词，意思是“登陆量”。把langdings当成一个数字来比较，用less than。

好的，谢谢。不过landings好像是捕鱼量的意思？因为我看land有捕鱼的意思额。
