结构框架是It is unclear whether....or whether....
It是形式主语，因为主语从句太长，所以后置，放形式主语it在前。所以or后面只能是whether，因为if只能引导条件状语从句。
D有个语法错误：
在即使不考虑逻辑意思的情况下，that were studied with缺宾语啊！
E就没有这个问题：if they were studied in depth 其中in depth是介词做状语修饰谓语动词studied表示study的程度。
E翻译成人话就是“究竟是否是大猩猩真的是非人类物种中有通过相互学习能力的独特的一个还是如果其他物种被我们像研究大猩猩一样深入，我们也会发现类似于大猩猩的行为 是不清楚的”
说白了就是作者不知道大猩猩是不是真的有学习能力还是只是因为我们研究大猩猩太深入，说不定我们如此深入系统的研究别的物种也会发现类似的行为？
