I know them only through some people who work for them...they are basically system auditors and I dont think any of them were interested in doing MBAs. But this is only based on the few people I knew.
I think you could leverage it a bit and position it as consulting work. Consulting might be better though (not IBM necessarily)
Career prospects should be similar to other lines at audit firms.
former pwc alum...on audit side...bottom line, you get the name on your resume and you get to say you did work for some huge corporations and everyoen will know you worked hard.
Will it get you into Harvard or Stanford, def wont unless you have a 4.0 from yale and a 780 gmat.
Will it get you into Duke, UVA, Cornell, maybe NYU or Columbia if you have good stats. Sure
Former D&T systems auditor (ERS - same thing). Loved the job. Worked with some amazing companies, learned a ton about IT security and it got me into Wharton. It's what you make of it. They seem to like MBAs but I really don't believe the job requires it.
