1.解释说C选项中 and even though creates a sentence fragment.我不是很懂为什么。

但是，按照帖子的回复上说的，那么C,D选项的although 用法就是正确的，这与og 就相反了

我记得magoosh的里面有讲到although等的用法，although后面必须加完成的句子。
至于C中fragment的原因应该是and，原文中并没有并列的的意思，而是给出了主句，后面逻辑来说应该是让步，
他们吃blabla，虽然blabla。
如果加了and并列确实就分割了。其实单从意思来看就能选D。

(B) and had supplemented (and前面有逗号，表示单独承接一个句子结构，后面没有主句，过去完成时没有依据)
(C) and even though they supplemented (and多余)
(D) although they supplemented (正确)
(E) but with supplementing (with supplementing错误)

(A) are visible as dark spots on the surface of the Sun but have never been sighted on (正确)

(D) appear as dark spots on the surface of the Sun, although never having been sighted at (never having been永远错)

1.解释说C选项中 and even though creates a sentence fragment. C选项中到底是什么造成了 a sentence fragment? 是因为and 吗？如果删掉and 不看的话 even though they supplemented 还会造成a sentence fragment吗？？
