AI136集思广益中参加讨论提高自己惠及他人

136. “In business courses, professors should teach only factual information and skills, not ethics.”
Discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the opinion stated above. Support your views with reasons and/or examples from your own experience, observations, or reading.

1The number 1 principle for any businessman should be to conform to the ethics.
2Other expertise and knowledge are also very important. However, ethics is the foundation, prerequisite which should never be overlooked.
3Therefore, in the business course, it is also important for the professor to teach ethics and highlight its importance.

公司也有职业道德需要去遵守啊,如果基本的道德都不提倡,很难保证有朝一日不会触犯法律……

1. One must understand that every business is part of an intricate web called society, when each one is inter-dependent on the other, the society by itself is one large organization. As businesses represent a small fragment of the society, they too should follow the same rules and standards.
2. Ethical motives may prove to be antithetical to an organizations main motive - making profit, but corporates that have held their self-image as "socially conscious" have always been sought after by customers.
3. Ethic teaching may be less relevant compare with other courses, which focuses on practicality, but it help student set priorities and understand social and legal consequences for such infringements.
