我选的是A 答案是D
OG给出的解释是 A: which has no antecedent in the sentence, so it is unclear what activated the display. 【请教，which不能指代名词exhibit吗，意思上是游客“触击”展品，展品因此激活功能】
OG给出的解释是 D:The agent of the action is clearly indicated by the grammatical structure of the sentence; visitors are encouraged to "touch"... and thereby (to) activate. 那么我什么时候能判定“to”是省略还是不平行呢？

和楼主一样，这题我也是错了好多次都选的A。
这里which 指代的exhibit不符合逻辑，  展品是（没手没脚的）没办法自己去触发这个功能的。只有visitor 才能去激活这个功能。

至于D选项中的to的省略，在曼哈顿中找到了，  The ‘to’ can be omitted in the second infinitive (and all the rest), unless there is  a parallelism marker before the first infinitive.
1.用and 连接的平行的一系列不定式： to 可以在第二个不定式中省略，（假如有很多不定式并列）那么接下来的不定式to 都要省去。
to A， B ，and C 是正确的
to A，to B and to C 是正确的
to A ，to B and C 是错误的
to A，B and to C 也是错的

2. 在不定式之前有parallellism maker，如either to A or to B  , 第二个to是不能省略的
