(E) as it passes这题看以前的讨论连接只提到interval between 是固定的，发现是有interval between，但后面都有and的，eg：
the interval between a lightning flash and the following thunder
an interval of 50 metres between posts
the interval between greatness and meanness/master and servant，想请教下这里interval between 的用法，另外为何A不对，between是 prep，后面为何一定要补齐？？
