考试中遇到的题 suggest 的用法

考试中第一题

题目记不清，大概是有个地区考古发现了xx prehistoric, 选项如下：

A. suggest it likely to do... and..

B suggest it likely to have done and..

C suggest it was...... and doing

D E suggest it was and may have done....

suggest doing or suggest that.. 是OG中的惯用法。以上用法有那位xdjm 讲讲吗？

  感觉应该A正确（当然B也可能，根据句子其他部分的情况）；suggest 有indicate 的意思，it指代后面的不定式作suggest宾语。类似于think it likely to do,之类的用法。但是，我并没有找到例句。希望各位加入讨论。
