Which school is better in terms of reputation in China/Asia? My plan is to work in Asia post MBA, and one big reason for me to pursue an MBA is for a career change.
depends what's your future career focus. Both schools are of great reputation. INSEAD focuses more on general management and target at consulting. Haas if bit more focus on enterpreneurship.

I am Jan 2006 intake in SGP! I figure that I need more Asia exposure. I understand what school i should choose depends a lot on where i want to be at and my career focus. However, all i know is that i am making a career switch (from Finance to marketing/brand management)... and I am hoping to work in Asia after MBA.
I am extremely excited abt INSEAD experience but I also wonder whether Berkeley has a stronger brand name in Asia.
I am also in 2006 JAN INSEAD intake. From my own experience, at least in Asia, people who are familiar with MBA programs will think INSEAD is more 'Elite'.(Hard to get in sort of thing)But for the majority of the society Berkeley is in general much well known here. If you focus on blue chip companies(Multinational companies) only then INSEAD should work well for you. If you are not sure yet what kind of industry and company you are heading for, Berkeley is safer.
