不是nn，但是试着说一下我的理解：

1.用完成时态表示fear recession发生于the gains in the stock market之前

2.instead：这里的句子结构是economy will avoid the recession。。。（that引导的是修饰recession的从句）and instead come in。。。所以这里的instead表明economy不会倒退，而会come in。。。
