Received a check (application fee) from a b-school...

I received a check (application fee) from a b-school that I am applying. I think the only possible reason is that the school lost my essaies and asked me to upload them again last month. Has anybody met the same situation?

没太看明白, 把申请费退给你? 我也申请了UNC , 好象没有把钱退给我.

If the check has been endored, that means you, as the check writer, has already paid the fee. The endorsed check will always be returned to the issuer after funds debited from your check account.

There are some words " After 5 days return to ...", following is the address of UNC. Don't understand return what. Maybe I should call UNC.
