UCLA Anderson Waitlist, 补充材料求助

我申请的第一轮，去年11月11号面试。之后就按照要求把材料都寄了过去。话说学校还要看我的毕业证原件，纠结了很久还是给他们寄过去了，好在学校那边看完之后就又给我把原件寄回来了。

1月28号出结果的时候，我被通知waitlist.

然后两天前，收到一封学校的一封邮件：

Dear Hao,
Hello from Westwood! I wanted to send a quick note with my contact information in case you have any questions about our waitlist and what to expect moving forward.

I encourage you to read our Waitlist Guidelines blog post, which outlines our policy and optional steps you can take to enhance your candidacy. If you have updated materials or information which you would like the admissions committee to consider in your application, please make sure to send these to wlmgr@anderson.ucla.edu. In particular, a strong TOEFL or IELTS score can provide additional data points and insight on your English fluency. If you have taken the test or plan to take it in the near future, do let us know.

托福成绩我倒是有，分数不高，总分107。因为我在新加坡上的大学，所以当初并没有提交托福成绩。

所以我打算再提供两份文件，一个是托福成绩，一个是我英国客户的推荐信（申请的时候只提交了一封直属老板的推荐信）。

不知道大家有什么意见？还有什么好的建议么？谢谢大家

托福107在top 16 admits里头算还不错了。可考虑重新reflect整个application package，找出可能的不足（比如CG是否靠谱，对学校resources的了解程度，leadership等重要特质是否体现），补additional essay。

谢谢哈，你提醒我了。我应该重新看一下申请文件。

如果能找出不足，那additional essay可能比推荐信更to the point一点。

我要是提供托福成绩，多一封推荐信，再加多一个essay，会不会太多了一点阿？把admission officer搞烦了也不好吧。有什么建议么？

我觉得如果我是AO，看到楼主把能做的都做了，至少证明很看重这个学校，这样也是好的吧
当然这只是我个人的想法...

上个礼拜 ucr的招生director给我打电话问了我几个问题
因为突然打给我事先没约我说的不是很好他最后说你如果想补充什么可以给我们写邮件
我周末思来想去写了一篇作文外加他问的一个问题我觉得我答的不是很好的写了一个段落发了过去给小米
今早收到邮件回复说感谢我的补充并写会放到我的材料里给招生委员会看
我也是怕我补充太多招他们烦但是我最后还是发了想多展现自己一点证明自己很重视希望他们能看到我的努力
当然ucla 比ucr不知道好多少个档次了我的硬件实在没法申ucla 我的意见也不一定是好的我就说说我自己的想法啊和楼主共勉

如果可以尽量1-2次Update完让人觉得well-prepared

我也觉得不能补太多，关键是针对自己的弱项来补充，这样整体才能加分。共勉！

Hello,
Sure I can give you some good advice. When you write the school, besides the two options you mentioned above, you should also write about any increases in responsibility, or any new achievements at work (or community service). Especially important will be anything you have done to improve your candidacy in the meanwhile, and anything that brings you closer to your goals. Other than that, you should also reiterate your excitement to attend Anderson and your dedication,
