I think the answer is that both schools are excellent. I think most opinions about a very wealthy and developed economy being entirely a “sinking ship” are poor cliches that have not much basis in reality. Not that I am an economic expert either!
But the fact is that people don’t know how well entire economies of countries will do, much less continents.
Instead rely on the statistics of INSEAD’s hiring (plus don’t forget that their program is half based in Asia). Basically both schools are great! And you should apply to both. I think outside the economic issue, your analysis is good. In Europe/Asia I feel INSEAD is a bit better connected, but I think UCLA can give you some great options too.
