关于D 有一种解释我表示有点疑惑
(D) discover the principles of solar energy every time fuel became scarce and expensive, but 'they' forget ---> We don't need the subject (here 'people') twice; it'll make the sentence sound redundant. So, we can do away with it.
当主语相同的时候主语可以省略没错，但是D处有一个逗号，就像and，当有逗号的时候应该要加上主语了吧？除非是并列句 ..., ...., but...即使有逗号也不用主语，不是吗？
