你看看top bank 的career talk list, local reputation, 還有exchange partner list自行感受一下吧.....

無疑cityu的business school 進步得很快, 但是整間學校的overall reputation沒有足夠資源, 和歷史沉澱, 要追上去, 不是十年八載的事.....

也就是说城大在找工作方面完全没有优势？结合专业呢？如果城大的金融和中文大的经济相比，哪个更有优势？

Definitly CUHK, even more clear than when comparing with financial mathematics.
you can have CFA to make up your finance in your CV and knowledge,
but not school name, network and etc.
for this case: if CityU have a much more solid program, and those solid knowledge are much better preparation for your dream career, that'll be a different story (i.e. take Fin math if you really like derivative pricing and quantitative modeling)

P.S. from my view, financial mathematics > economics > finance, in long run.
Financial mathematics is the practical and have good application, and it cannot be learnt outside school.
Economics will give you a good academic fundamental, and same as FM, theory stuffs can only be learnt in school
Finance is practical also, but it is something that much more easy (easy maths) which you can learn and prove your knowledge without a degree.

1. If there are university which are of different tier (can either be defined under overall or subject ranking), select the higher one - unless the higher tier have a really crappy department or program
2. If same tier, time to compare the major
Exception = you have a strong academic interest in a certain field, or PhD prepataion.

To be honest, if I were asked to choose, I will also have a difficult time as I was more interested in financial mathematics than economics. <-------academic interst..........dont know about your case
