Since wwwzzz has shown up here, and she is surely your best resource for questions related to Chicago, I would like to say something about Tuck. Claim: I am not studying in Tuck now but I have some friends there. 1. Tuck has smaller class size, it could ba a good thing if you like tighter community environment; 2. Tuck's alumni network is arguably the best among all top b-schools, simply because with such a small size, that's the only way they can compete with bigger programs; 3. Tuck is a very strong brand name if you want to do IB or MC in U.S. That being said, you still need to have necessary credentials to get the jobs, but sure you will get a lot of help from your alumni. 4. Life in Tuck: you will be forced to live in a dorm provided by school. Since there is no kitchen in dorms, you have to have dinner with your classmates in cafeteria. It'll be a good networking time for some people, but sure not seems funny for everyone. It's tough to choose between Chicago and Tuck. I would echo what wwwzzz said before: talk to as many current students in those two schools as you can, and ask for more insight information from schools as well. Good luck, |
