14fall申请求定位!!!

gmat刚考出来终于上700了..准备冲击下美国前50了求分析求定位!
本人背景:
国内985+英国小本 2+2 双学位两边都有学位证不是水货的~~
国内是英语学士学位, 英国本是economics+finance honor degree.
国内2年gpa3.3 核心课程3.5 英国均分17/20的2.1学位..
gmat710 V51Q35
雅思7分作文6 口语6.5.
国内实习有ICBC和国信证劵.
国际会议论文两篇 SCI可检索
课程上过C++, calculus 1 2 3 4, 线代.

准备申请MSF和MFE.因为实在是不想考托福了准备就用雅思了.
请各位拍砖指正!~

目测MFE不现实数学太弱 MSF还是可以的但是前50不好说你要知道在前50有MSF项目的也没多少学校

Hi there! Jon Frank here, happy to help. Let me say that you have a good background and solid undergrad experience. However, I would suggest you carefully consider what type of graduate program is right for you. MSF and MFE sound similar because they are both in finance, but they actually lead to very different career paths. MSF focuses on general financial analysis and corporate finance, while MFE is more geared towards mathematic professionals in the financial industry. From what you’ve achieved and learned thus far, I think you have a better chance of getting into an MSF program. If you can write great essays, you have a shot at admission at schools like UIUC, JHU, and UT-Austin. These schools are definitely in your range. Let me know if you have any more questions!
