Hi there! Jon Frank here, happy to help. Let me say that you have a good background and solid undergrad experience. However, I would suggest you carefully consider what type of graduate program is right for you. MSF and MFE sound similar because they are both in finance, but they actually lead to very different career paths. MSF focuses on general financial analysis and corporate finance, while MFE is more geared towards mathematic professionals in the financial industry. From what you’ve achieved and learned thus far, I think you have a better chance of getting into an MSF program. If you can write great essays, you have a shot at admission at schools like UIUC, JHU, and UT-Austin. These schools are definitely in your range. Let me know if you have any more questions!
