突然想到关于idiom 的一个问题

最近反复看MHT的idiom
在看到agree的时候突然想起来

在MHT中：

AGREE
RIGHT:
They AGREE THAT electrons EXIST.
Electrons are particles THAT physicists AGREE EXIST.

只有一个agree that
在OG13正确句子中查找了agree 出现只有几处基本上都是agree that

平时大家说的 agree with agree on 如果出现在题目中怎么办如果意思啥逻辑等的正确这个没有在OG中出现过的搭配应该被justified吗

还有一个问题在网站和我的词典上没有查到

MHT上关于aid 的用法
She provides AID TO victims. AID FOR victims is available.
aid to aid for有区别么？

还有一个小地方
** ALLOW
RIGHT:
The holiday ALLOWS Maria TO WATCH the movie today. (= permits)
Maria WAS ALLOWED TO WATCH the movie.
The demolition of the old building ALLOWS FOR new construction.
(= permits the existence of)

allow for我在词典上查的是考虑到这里的(= permits the existence of)请问是什么意思

都是小问题但是因为离考试还有时间所以特别想搞清楚

首先agree on/with的用法肯定是justified的，这点你不用怀疑。。从小用到现在了。。
但关键是在gmat中假使出现，感觉会较that+clause容易出现awkward的问题。
我判断的依据也是来源于manhattan中经典的 PREP+DOING 次于 THAT + CLAUSE 的这一方面。
毕竟agree on/ with，你就算要用，后面也只能加一个名词（且往往是abstract的那种）。但个人认为出现的概论很小，我查阅过所有的正确句子，貌似没有找到。

我google了下，查到在beatthegmat论坛里有人说+for是错误的
我的理解，是二者technically没有语法错误（毕竟人家都进了RIGHT的行列嘛~）。
但一定要注意的是，这里的AID TO/AID FOR中的AID的词性！
就从你摘取的例句中可以发现，这里的AID都是名词。这才是关键
其词性决定了，“aid to do” 就是错的！
因为当AID作v.时，正确的idiom的用法有且只有一个——AID IN DOING,btw,这一考点我记得曾在og里出现过的。

建议试着通过例句去理解，而不是干巴巴地记definition
其实这里的allow for (permits the existence of) 更接近于allow的意思。
比如下面这句来自WHITEHOUSE: Press Briefing的句子，
We want to do what works to allow for an agreement to be reached.
再是来自于CNN: Narcissists want weddings, not marriage的句子
Knowing and appreciating yourself will allow for a better relationship on both sides, McWade said.
这两句句子中，ALLOW FOR 显然不是'to give consideration to circumstances or contingencies.' 即你所说的考虑到的意思
你可以试着翻译一下句中的ALLOW FOR，会发现(= permits the existence of)这个比较抽象但确切的概念。

有一个地方我想保留我的意见： aid做动词 MHT的说法是 aid sb ，作为一个VT。 aid in doing 中 aid 也是名词。请查证，

另外想追加一个问题：

The judge RULED THAT the plaintiff WAS incontempt.

我认为应该有 subjunctive 为啥没有 rule 是勒令的意思？

ha! 谢谢关于AID(n.) in doing的提醒~看来我疏忽了~

至于rule，你不说我也以为是这样的
google了一下，发现rule在wiki里是有subjunctive的用法的，v/n.皆有
但后来又去查了几大字典，发现——
例句给的与MHT的例句类似用法
在【to give an official decision about something决定；裁定；判决】下有
[V that]
The court ruled that the women were unfairly dismissed.

btw，词典里并没有勒令的意思

关于是否rule that sb.do sth 在G中就是wrong idiom最后我也不敢妄下判断
但ruled that ...was/were/did/...的用法肯定没错倒是新学到了~
