People who develop many different skills are more successful than people focus on one skill only?

Some people claim that people who want to be great successful shoud focus on one skill, because specialists always go futher in one aspect than others and get some excellent grades. But in fact, at this day and age, people who develop well-rounded are more easy to get successed.

It is not uncommon that people who develop multiple skills are more competitive in job market, especially after the finacial crises in 2008, the rate of unemployement rasied rapidly. With the increasing development of  international cooperation, using an foreign language smoothly, besides the excellent expetise experiences, has become a preconditon to most jobs. Many people really have great advantages in their major territory, however, they are rejected by international companies just because they cannot speak English. Thus, people can be more adaptable if they have versatile skills.

It is the different skills led people’s life more colorful and happiness, which also can be defined as one kind success of life. For intance, Einstein ,German-born American theoretical physicist, also have a interest in playing violin. When he feels confused, or has a breakthrough, he always like to play violin to make the thoughts more clearly. Because of the music talent skill , Einstein has his own way to release and find the peace. However , no matter the famous genius or somebody, everyone need to keep different skills to color life , such as yoga or golf. And no one can deny the vital role of these skills in our daily life.

What’s more, some people thought that one cannot do pretty good if he/she wants to keep diffierents skills. However, I don’t think there is a conflict between generalists and specialists. In contract, differents skills support and improve each other sometimes. For instance, computer science students always do great job at mathmatics, because some complex codes of programes in computer science need math theories to prove. Also, students who are major in mathmatics learn and understand more quickly about the complicate theories in computer science, because math stretch their logical thinking and lay a solid foundation for computer science. Therefore, people who have varies abilities may do better than people who focus one skill only.

For these reasons, people who develop many different skills should be more successful than people focus on one skill only, I believe that because in nowadays society, which fulfill with challenges and competitions, needs more the people who are well-rounded to push the amzaing development in every realm.
