i, my friend! First let me say congratulations on these excellent offers. To answer your question, my suggestion would be to pick UIUC over USC. First of all, UIUC’s program is definitely higher quality and more competitive than the one at USC. You will be able to learn a lot of programing and quantitative stuff, which will better prepare you to become a quantitative analyst. Secondly, UIUC has a better reputation in the industry, and there will be more on-campus recruiting opportunities. Finally, UIUC is in the greater Chicago area, and Chicago is the capital of the trading world. Thus, you will have far more opportunities there. Hope this helps!
