状语修饰的问题请教

想请教一下,这种定不定式被定语从句隔开不会有就近修饰的嫌疑吗?

动名词还是分词的岐义
不定式的岐义
介词短语的岐义（定语还是状语，状语是状谁？）
同样是非谓语动词又有原因状语，条件，时间的岐义
句子层次的岐义

you need是information的modifier，不定式是provide的modifier；前面紧跟的修饰没问题；不定式可以作为noun modifier，也可以作为整个句子的modifier；这个时候我感觉要从逻辑意思去判断了，那么to do 修饰place 就有点讲不通；

语义上是没有问题，但是距离它最近的动词是need它语法上也可以修饰need。gmat有这方面的规定吗

LZ想的太多了，定语从句只作形容词修饰名词，不在句子里作具体成分，所以主句目的状语怎么能修饰从句的动词呢。

如果单就本句话来看，你说的也不是没有道理。
问题在于如果遇到一句复杂的话，怎么才能知道它是主句的状语还是从句的状语，
