我问了一个美国人，在校学生，是我在Berlitz上学时的老师．他是这么解释的：＂In that＂is not as strong as ＂because.＂ It＇s closer to ＂
could be＂ or ＂so far as＂．To say that something is something else in that...
means ＂Well, you could look at it that way...＂
So, anthropology is a science _because_ anthropologists use a vigorous set of
methods and techniques means that anthroplogy is a science because there are no
exact answers...Many people don＇t think that anthroplogy is a science because
there are no exact answers. But anthropology _could be considered_ a science
because of the research methods used. So, so far as the methods are concerned,
anthropology is a science.
