4 April Integrated Writing:TPO16 The reading passage investigates thetopic of the terrible problems that the science of archaeology of Britain wasfaced with. The professor’s lecture is concerned with the same issue. However,he indicates that there was new guidelines arouse and the problems had beenimproved. And in the lecture, he uses three specific points to support hisidea. First, the lecture argues that all theconstruction builders were required to examine the construction site beforeprojecting. This is because the archaeological artifacts need to be protected.Therefore, the reading is wrong to claim that construction projects had bedinfluences on lots of vegetable artifacts. Moreover, the lecture asserts that thecost for the archaeological work would be paid for by the construction companyinstead of the government. Then he supports this point as a new source offinancial support, solving the problem in the reading that the fund from thegovernment was too limited for the archaeologists to use. Lastly, the lecture also challenges thefinal points that a large quantity of work were provided because of the newguidelines, whereas the author of the reading claims that the career inarchaeology was hard to hold on. The professor shows that this claim would nolonger existed by point out that so many kinds of job such as drawing up thepreservation plan, processing the date and writing the reports and articles.
