Okay, so first of all things look pretty good. You have very very nice test scores (don't even THINK about retaking. It's TOTALLY unnecessary,, I mean unless you can cakewalk your way into a 750... ). You certainly have a shot at Top 15 schools. Obviously it's too late for this year. I feel from your post that you really really want to apply now, but trust me that it's better not to rush things. I mean you could be a good candidate for Darden, but then you will never get your shot to see what OTHER of the amazing schools you can get into. So wait six months, prepare yourself well, and apply to ALL top 15 schoools if you have the energy. This is the way to guarantee you the BEST possible results. If you are gonna do something, I believe you should do it right. I would say take a trip to the US this spring semester, visit all the schools that you like, gather info, make contacts, and prepare yourself to apply for R1 next year. Many many thanks for your encouragement and suggestion~I will consider it about visiting B-schools. And I have already decided to quit applying Darden by such an insufficient preparation. I will save the energy to give it my best shot in R1 this year. |
