问题主要是D中the largest of the ancient world，是作为the library的同位语或者插入语吧。
我印象中像同位语以及插入语都是就近修饰的吧，也就是说the largest of the ancient world也有可能修饰Alexandria？？

求解释。。。。谢谢

稍有点逻辑的人不会认为是修饰Alexandria。因为是在说library的毁坏，补充修饰的一定是library。

the largest of the ancient world在這裡修飾的是“the library at Alexandria”

noun modifier雖然說一般是符合touch rule原則，但是也有很多例外的，最根本的還是要通過meaning來判斷。

另外，我覺得這裡沒有違背touch rule原則，at alexandria是修飾library的介賓短語，說明library的地點，意思是“在a地的圖書館”。後面的同位語修飾的是這個整體“在a地的圖書館”，而不僅僅是“圖書館”。
