题目：Do you agree or disagree? Colleges or universities should offerstudents a better job preparation before they start working.
（446字）When it refers to career service in an university , people providedivergent opinion on this controversial issue. The overwhelming majority wouldsupport that it is important for a university to offer students better jobpreparation before they graduate. Others, however, take the opposite attitude.I, given the chance, prefer to endorsethat colleges or universities should support their students with expert careerservice. Among countless factors which contribute to my position are conspicuousas follows.
Although, to begin with, there is no doubt that the major/essentialrole university plays in is transferring the knowledge to students and helpingstudents obtain the skill to absorb new information by themselves, we cannotdeny that university are suppose to get student mental readiness for the jobmarket before they step out from the gate of schools. University is the laststop at which students stay and a bridge that connects groups of students andthe society which changes all the time. One of my friends , Mr. Cutshall is afaculty in school and also working on consulting. What he told me is, he canapproach the latest employment information and share this useful resource tostudents. All he done is obviously helpful for the students to get more readyto compete in the job market.
Second, providing job preparation for students also benefits thecompanies that want to recruit employee directly from university. Campusrecruiting is one of the most efficient ways for companies to hire students andfor student to get a position in a less competitive hiring environment. As faras I am concerned, PWC, Deloitte, KPMG, and EY, the big four accounting firmsannually join the campus recruiting hold by universities of which rank top 50in the USA. The feedback from these firms indicates that they are satisfiedwith the result-----efficiently and directly recruit employee in their targetedschool.
Last but not the least, university itself is alsothe beneficiary of providing better job preparation that can lead to higheremployment rate of the graduates. Why does higher employment rate benefit theuniversity? The answer is obviously clear. The good rate absolutely can bringmore and more excellent student come, improving the level of the academic. Hereis a survey can provide evidence to support my claim. From 2005 to 2010, thenumber of students who apply for a university with 5% more employment rate is10 percent more than that of students who apply for a university with lowerrate.
From all above, I can conclude that it is helpfuland necessary for a university to provide students with better job preparationbecause of the benefit for students, companies, and universities.
