关于CMC的coverletter

准备尝试申请一下CMC的MSF，其中要求写一篇400字以内的coverletter，不知道大家的思路是什么啊，根据官网的意思是按照what can you get from CMC, what's your contribution to CMC, what's your career goal这样来写吗？求指点！

just one standard way of doing it:

career goal -> own strength to facilitate this goal (more) -> own deficiency in realizing this goal (less) -> how can CMC close this gap for you -> what can you bring to the school

There are of course other logic flows that can also make a perfect cover letter.

Could you please tell me do I need to emphasize leadership in this coverletter(I heard CMC stresses leadership), or just pay much attention on finance and mahematics? Thank you for your help!

probably a little bit of leadership in the cover letter is fine. but you'll have another essay to write, just on leadership, if you pass the first round.

i would say talk more about your goal and work experience than finance and math. you get the latter two from school. that's why you come here.

thanks for your great help! I have read your another passage, maybe CMC likes students who are more mature and more certain about their future, I think I'm going to make a big change of my cover letter. Hope to get a chance to join this program(although the chance may be little)~~

hi, lovelylittle~I didn't find the information about the ps or essay on the official website, could you please shed some light on it?

these are the documents I could find so far:
When preparing your application, answer all questions completely. A complete application contains the following elements:

Personal Info, Background Info, and Academic Records
(Including uploaded unofficial transcripts from all post-secondary education institutions)
Self-reported GMAT or GRE scores and TOEFL scores, if required
Two letters of recommendation
Resume
Cover Letter
$70 nonrefundable application fee
