What are the advantages of living in a big city, including eating as one of the advantages?
Big cities of China, such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, the number of population is boosting nowadays. These cities are attracting people with their increasingly development economy and diverse opportunities and life styles. People are willing to choose these places which have abundant prospective working opportunities, possibilities pursuing their dreams.
Diversity lives can be had in a big city with its different kinds of entertainment places and facilities. There are lots of museums to learn about dinosaurs, having some prehistoric researches. Also, theaters are very popular in big cities where people can enjoy music to lease themselves in weekend with families. For me, I love operas like Chicago from America, but unfortunately I live in a primarily small city named Yanji without any kind of theater. When I see the commercials of Chicago from Beijing National Theater every time, how I wish I can live in a big city with fancy theater. In some way, the artistic atmosphere in a big city let young people chose to stay.
On the other hand, a big city is not only are the young people chasing, but parents are choosing it for children's education as well. Education, related to the future of a family and even a country is a significant problem. Most educational investments of a country are given to the schools of big cities. With this kind of abundant fund, big cities' schools can afford the best teachers the most advanced teaching equipment, and then can acquire information as quick as possible. Research shows that the density of schools in big cities are much higher than countryside's, it means competition of schools from big cities is fiercer than schools from countryside. It maybe becomes motivation compelling students’ superiority.
Eating is one of the advantages of living in a big city. Many kinds of restaurants, serving great food all over the world is located in a big city. They provide many options to people, when they are tired to cook at home. It is not an easy work for a housewife to cook with each and every step of preparation of a satisfied meal. Restaurants free housewives from the tedious task to having chance to do more meaningful things, for example, a higher pay job or a more respectful one.
Although the environmental destruction is one of the most serious problems in a big city, people should make every effort to improve it. Within the locals' protection of environment, a big city can be rebuilt surround with fresh air like countryside someday in the future.
