OG里说D的'despite' illogical& Ungrammatical， despite和yet都表让步/转折我知道，所以illogical可以理解
我的疑惑是 despite是连词吗？[有人说是，但字典里它只有介词的解释]
撇去逻辑意思不看，D可以算对吧？！

不是连词是介词，

D选项 despite+N ...despite后面只能+名词不能+从句

despite这个部分之后需要一个主句,同样yet部分也需要一个主句
所以不符合语法

despite the increasing number of women graduating(这句是despite+N的结构)
