Background check - chance of getting into HBS / Stanford?

You guys think below background has a shot with HBS / Stanford? Thx!

Top IB M&A, based in HK.
Internship all in IB as well
GMAT 760
Top US school ECON master (GPA is low: 3.3...)
Undergrad 3 years in China + 1 year Singapore + summer programs in states
Various extra-curricular and community service experiences

should say: league table 2012 global no. 4 in M&A. No.3 in Asia.
master school rank no.8 in US and no.9 in econ.

It looks like you have a shot. The numbers are good enough (too bad about that slightly lower GPA.. but you can overcome it!). But we really need a lot more info to figure out WHAT shot you got. Meaning that Stanford and Harvard are gonna look at your leadership, at you’re awards, at your salary, at what type of family you come from, at your career vision and how strong It is. To get into these VERY tough programs you need a lot more than just good grades and a high GMAT.

to jon frank: got scholarships throughout my studies;
top 5 IB salary in HK is almost the same, i should say competitive. (i m a 3rd year an)
leadership: here and there but not like fantastic ones
will try... but prolly won't consider that many other schools..
