个人觉得不会是endure表示持久的原因，

其一，比如像wait、study这些单词也可以表示持久或者是延续，但同时也可以用于现在完成进行时，I have been studying English for 8 years

其二，我觉得endure既然可以表示持久的话，那干脆这里连现在完成时也可以不用了，就如同friendships endure over many years这个例句一样，完成时正确，一般时也正确，那还是用现在时更简洁呢

个人看法：have been doing表示过去的动作持续到现在并还会继续下去
have done 指标是过去的动作一直持续到现在或者是过去的动作对现在有影响
OG说 it is rhetorically inappropriate and sounds exaggererated。意思是其实作者没有表达farming traditions会一直endure 下去的意图，所以是inappropriate的和exaggerated的。

同意楼上~句意是说farming conditions已经存在了至少6000年了，强调的是“已经存在了好久”，如果用现在完成进行时就变成了“存在了多久”，翻译成中文就是“farming conditions一直存在至少6000年”，这样说很奇怪，一般来讲我们要么说“它一直存在”，要么说“它存在了6000年”，放在一起感觉很混乱。希望能帮到大家~欢迎指教~

哪位能再指点一下这句的句子结构呢

我是这样理解的，但总觉得怪怪的
combination是主语，开头的along是地点状语。但是感觉combinition是一个抽象的名词，应该作为river的修饰语才对。

到底是怎样的，求指教+_+
