好问题!mark一下。
我目前猜想是:因为与were convinced一致,且描述的是过去的错误认知,而不是“某种客观存在自然规律”

因为她colleague持有的观点是错误的,后半句说了BM提出了她的观点,并得到证实。

所以,colleague的观点,并不是客观事实或一般规律

为什么是were convinced 啊?为什么用被动?前面是人,不是应该用主动吗
