在OG中 73 题 appear 为什么不用appeared 这种。

一直以为grow to be 表示长成...，需要parallel；grow to+数量可以表示身高。。
但是这道题似乎不这么认为。

well, sure -- in this sense that you can consider it a legitimate wording. (it HAS to be a legitimate wording, since it appears in a correct answer.)

然而还是没有说区别。。。只能当成两个是一样的idiom了
