我不明白的是B选项的最后一项错误，说不清楚his 指代什么，但是原文里面his只指代这一个人啊，有什么错误么？

B选项，在his出现前，前面有两个人名。这样的话，在语法上这个his是可以去指代二者任一的。

对于一个没有任何背景知识的人，它可能并不知道句子的内在逻辑，所以他并不知道his到底在指代谁。而且B选项出现了代词，A选项却没有出现。可是AB选项，都是表达一个意思的，那为什么要去选择一个可能会出现指代歧义的B选项呢？

也就是说，gmat要求我们【在语义，语法无问题时，选择一个最简洁的表达】。

况且，B选项本身就有一个不平行，这是个绝对错误。所以B选项肯定错~
