选E。E中分号前后的句子构成并列句，而两个句子都用travel作主语感觉比较对应。另，inspire的宾语只能是sb.，所以B是不正确的。

这题真够纠结！选E。主要是逻辑意思要弄清楚。原句的意思是AC和她丈夫的旅游激发了灵感。我们知道，写作需要灵感，是通过生活和感悟得来，而不该是有意用旅行激发灵感。哎。虽然看到好好的动词变成了名词，按照句意来看，还应该是E。
