本人考过一次托福了，独立作文fair，后来听新东方老师的话背了12篇新概念4，不知道有没进步，8.27二战，求各位高手帮忙点评一下，给个分数、、、不胜感激!!!
一人们应该坚持自己有挑战性的梦想还是注重实现现实的梦想
It maybe really a tough issue to talking about chasing our dream. When it turns out that something keeping in your mind for long time is out of reality, should you give up your dreaming work? For some people, the answer may be clear, yes. However, this is not the case for me.
For one thing, chasing challenging task can stimulate us to achieve something seems to be impossible. When you set a difficult target for yourself, you can feel that strong force are pushing you forward, because the goal is pretty far away, and you will be not allowed to stop for a while taking a break. Sometimes, you may also can not come back to the original site while you are under great pressure. You can do nothing but sticking to what you choose to chase. For example, the once richest person in the world, chose to drop off from the most well-known college in US, Harvard University, resembling his own team for software designing works, which develop to be today’s Microsoft. You can see how strong power of a great dream is.
Moreover, addicting to hard aim makes you working harder. Since things are not going well, everything tends to be out of control. This moment you will do your utmost to keep all matters on track. Taking my experience for example, when I realize I had to get an A for my mathematics course in order to get into the college in my city, I can stay up all night to review my textbook for consecutive half a month. I can’t even believe that I had made it at this moment.
Finally, a target too realistic will restrain your performance in your work. If everything is following something that has existed, our work will be poor creative and even boring. I am so impressed by a speech of Steve Jobs, he said that he would never shake the world with his Apple company without a unrealistic image of future life that originated from his brain. To see Apple’s products today, I also want to draft a prospective picture in my mind.
二In order to solve the problems of the present and the future, people should review the past
It may be a tough issue to talk about the importance of our past, the development of human race. We face increasing problems of various aspects nowadays in our life, say, environmental pollutions, overpopulation and such kind of headaches. Would it help for us to look back to our past to figure out solutions of problems above? I guess so.
For one thing, reviewing the process that human grow to be civilized creatures will remind us the development of modern society. All our technologies in these days are through a long period to form and become mature. So if we are familiar to their formative process, to solve the problems that they produce during developing may prove an easy task. For example, if an architect has learned the building history of human beings, he can easily point out a mistake or a latent threat on a building draft since he had read similar problems before during his study. Therefore it makes sense to learn more and variety source of knowledge of our past.
However, our society is moving forward at a rather high speed. As you can see, our life has been filled with high-technology products which tended to be replaced for pretty short period. We actually push our world to move forward by creating, rather than turning to dreary clichés about reviewing our past all the time. For instance, there are a large numbers of traditions in Chinese history. There is no doubt that most of them are instructive to our country development, but we should not exaggerate their importance and review it too often. Instead, we should focus on the future and dedicate to create our own life.
In a word, it seems to be superficial to say that we should always review our past or not, which reflect to that famous cliché that every coin has two sides. We should never forget where we come from, but just to review in a sensible extent, and do our utmost to build our future.
