答案选b。对了答案知道b选项用了not..but的并列，那其他选项错在哪里？d也用了not..but，为什么也不对呢？谢谢！！

D 改动了谓语动词。一般情况下，除非谓语动词用的不对，一般不可以随意改变的。

原句中划线部分的谓语动词一般都是正确的吗？用BE动词作谓语动词不行吗？

C, D, E 根本的错误在于“zones" 不是“principle" :-)
